I have been blessed with an amazing nursing career since 1988. I specialized in geriatric nursing for 11 years and then transitioned into medical underwriting for a long term care insurance company for another 11 years.  Reading medical records, labs, tests, medications etc. from thousands of doctors all over the United States and determining individuals risk of severe illness was my job.  Then I retired at age 55 planning to spend more time with my parents. That is when I realized my Dad had Dementia. In between work and life, I always had a health business on the side, went on to get Certified in Holistic Health, Cancer Coaching and took care of my own elderly family members that lived with us. My Grandmother lived to 99 1/2 and her daughter, my Mom lived to 86.  You could say, I have had some hands on experience to fall back on since retirement.  So I took a few years off from everything but I feel like it's God's timing right now with so many health problems rearing their heads in the last 3 years that don't seem to go away.  I know that His purposes will be fulfilled as He guides and gives wisdom to you and I with each encounter.
